01—The starting point
When the role is hard to fill, LinkedIn falls short
TalentCross doesn’t get the easy searches. It gets the ones the client already tried to fill and couldn’t: profiles with a mix of technology, industry and location that rules out almost the entire market.
And for that kind of search, LinkedIn has a ceiling. The search box forces you to boil a complex profile down to a handful of keywords, and there’s no way to tell it the most important thing: what you’re not looking for.
On LinkedIn I have to reduce a complex profile to three words. I can’t explain what I’m looking for and, above all, I can’t explain what I’m not.
The result was always the same: on the hardest roles, the search returned very little, and almost none of it was usable.
02—The search
Describe the profile the way you’d describe it to a colleague
With Talentum, Marcelli Crepaldi stopped translating. Instead of turning the client’s request into filters, she walks Sara through it with every nuance: what the candidate must have, what’s a plus, and what rules a candidate out from the start.
With Sara, I explain the search like I would to a friend: not this, not that either, yes to this. And she understands exactly what I need.
The difference shows exactly where it hurts most: on the searches that used to go nowhere.

Highly specific profile
No filter could capture what the client was asking for. Described in natural language, the candidate who works there today showed up.

A different continent and a scarce profile. LinkedIn returned almost nothing; Sara found 24 matching candidates in two and a half minutes.
03—The outreach
One message, dozens of candidates
Finding the profile is half the job. The other half, the one that eats up the hours, is writing to each person. With Talentum, outreach goes out on LinkedIn to every candidate in the search at once, without writing message after message.
I used to write to candidates one by one. Now I launch the outreach to all of them at once and move on to something else.
It was the part of the job that took the most time and needed the least judgment. Now it runs on its own.
04—Day to day
The campaign works while she takes care of clients
Every search lives in its own campaign. Marcelli Crepaldi launches it, watches it progress, and in the meantime does what no tool can do for her: talk to clients and candidates.
I set the campaign running and focus on calls with clients and candidates. Talentum brought order to my day.
The time that used to go into mechanical work now goes into the conversations that move a search forward.
05—The result
Less than 24 hours to a shortlist
TalentCross’s commitment to its clients is to present candidates within five days. On the searches that run through Talentum, Marcelli Crepaldi has them ready in less than one.

New client · first search
Loaded one day, candidate presented the next, hire closed the following week.
The final close will always depend on the client. But the part of the process in TalentCross’s hands is no longer the bottleneck, and today the team has a simple rule: if the role is hard to fill, it goes straight to Talentum.
For the hard searches, I don’t think twice anymore: I go straight to Talentum. It’s the best tool we have.
